Oh, come, let us worship and bow down; Let us kneel before the Lord our Maker. For He is our God, And we are the people of His pasture and the sheep of His hand.
Psalms 95:6-7
There are many ways in which we can worship the Lord Jesus Christ. We can worship Him through:
- Reading the Word of God. (The Bible)
- Prayer
- Music
- Fellowship
- Giving of our time in serving and blessing others
- Giving financially to bless individuals or tithing to your local fellowship, etc.
Our desire when we gather corporately is to worship the Lord in all of these ways. When we worship Him in with music, we are submitting to and focusing our hearts and minds on Jesus, giving Him the worship that He is due. We use music as a means to communicate our love and devotion to Christ being led by the Holy Spirit of God. Only God is worthy to receive our worship.
A significant portion of our services are devoted to worshipping the Lord through song. We believe that our worship should be led by the Holy Spirit and thus orderly, thoughtful, meaningful, Biblical. The songs that we use to worship the Lord range from hymns and choruses old and new to contemporary Christian songs. We choose songs that have the scripture as their foundation. Therefore, we can worship the Lord having the confidence that we are doing so in accordance to God’s Word.
Children under the age of 12 have their own worship services so that they can worship in song and grow using songs that are age appropriate. We pray that you’ll come join us as we worship our Lord, Savior and King, Jesus Christ.
